This new collection from kikki.K caught me by surprise – which is always an awesome thing for us planner/journal junkies right? This new personal, medium size planner is from the ‘Met You’ collection which is perfect for Valentine’s Day (it’s right around the corner – how crazy!). Now, the planner is a limited edition online exclusive so if you want one in your collection you better get hustling. Do I have any intention of buy another planner you ask? (Family look away)… Yes. Yes I do. How could I not? I don’t know about you but I think pretty little planners like these ones are works of art and there’s always room for new art, right? Right? Just take my money kikki-K!
The team at Rifle Paper Co have been hard at work adding new products to their ever-growing range of paper goodies, which is awesome for us stationery lovers. I’ve been a big fan of the biz for a while so it was a treat to get hands-on with Rifle’s new Vintage Blossoms and Rosa journal combos recently.
The Vintage Blossoms set consists of two journals that are 150mm x 202mm and contain 48 blank pages. The cover is made from a thin cardboard and while it has some sturdiness to it, it would be easy to crease or damage if not careful. The cover features beautiful illustrations with that unmistakable Rifle style. It also has gold foil accents that really elevate the design to another level.
The Rosa set (below) is smaller in size with each book measuring 106mm x 139mm. They feature the same thin cardboard cover but it’s made stronger because of the smaller size. The Rosa set also features gold foil accents. This smaller set is the perfect size to carry around in your bag.
All of Rifle’s notebooks are printed on high quality paper FSC-certified paper stocks. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), is an organisation created to ensure sustainable forestry and holds the highest level of environmental standards in the paper industry. The inside paper stock is a cream colour and is untextured. I didn’t do a pen test on these notebooks because I’m giving them away.
Thanks to Notemaker I am giving away 4 Rifle Paper Co journals to one lucky reader. All you’ve got to do to be in the running is tell me one good thing that has happened to you this week. Use as many words as you like here in the comments, on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The competition ends at 11:59pm Wednesday August 24th and is open to International readers.
Happy Monday everyone. Today I am sharing a new (to me) pretty paper business called Worthwhile Paper. I love the earth-friendly ethos that designer Kristen Drozdowski has adopted. “I use water based screen printing inks in a green environment and print on recycled white & kraft paper. All of my envelopes are made from recycled paper. All rubber stamps are made out of 100% renewable-resource red rubber. Yay!”
Ohh Wednesday Press you’re so pretty. Lovin’ the hand lettering – definitely the best I’ve seen lately. Pretty, pretty, pretty!
1. You’re Fancy – Foil Stamp Card.
2. Fa La La La Fox – Letterpress Card.
3. Spring in My Step – Letterpress Card.
4. Thank You – Letterpress Card.
5. No End to This Love – 6 Letterpress Cards.
6. Til Death Do Us Part – Letterpress Card
Do you know how excited stores like Once Upon Supplies make me?! I’m sure you hardcore paper nerds know what I mean. Pretty stickers, labels and washi tape make me giddy!
I could look through this Etsy store for ages. All the pretties!
Another entrant in the ‘simple but done oh so well’ category is Ashley Pahl. She has a really cute take on paper cut cards and each one is handmade which is pretty special.
Yet another reason to love Akimbo! Alicia has started the Clever Hello Club recently.
It’s a monthly subscription service where stationery lovers (psst that’s us!) receive two greeting cards every month. Join the club and you’ll never be without a fun, quirky card for any occasion.

Hello! Happy Monday! I’m pretty excited because this week the Weather Department is saying there will be rain and storms and you all know how much I LOVE rain and storms. Western Australia is a pretty big place (you could fit Texas, California, Montana, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada inside the state) so sometimes my little corner doesn’t get all the weather that is promised but I’m crossing my fingers, toes, arms and legs that we’ll get something.
O.K. enough about the weather. Today I wanted to share the work of This Paper Ship. They are a husband and wife team based in North Carolina. I fell in love with their poster You Make Me Happy a little while ago and I just love their mix of cute illustrations with typography. Their art just works and I think you’ll agree it’s pretty cute.
Have a great week!
