I know! I blogged about postcards yesterday but you have to indulge me because these ones are so cute. The Ask Alice Postcard Book is 24 pages of sweetness. The designs are quirky and each card is printed on thick 100% recycled stock. Designed and made in Melbourne, the book contains 12 hand-drawn designs – so you get 2 of each – one to keep, one to save!

I’m so excited to be writing for Paper Runway as a guest contributor! At the moment I’ll be writing every fortnight and I hope to share all the bits of paper loveliness that I find in my travels across the web. Anywho, here is a link to my very first Paper Runway post. I talk about one of my very favourite topics – postcards!

Have you used Teux Deux? If you’re a fan of to-do lists, you’ll love it. It’s simplicity and lovely design are the main reasons I use it. I’ve often thought “Wouldn’t it be cool if someone made a Teux Deux style pad for offline to-doing” and guess what? They have! Poketo have released the Desk-It Weekly Calendar and it’s all kinds of lovely. You can write your list, tear it out of the pad and stick onto your monitor, wall, fridge – wherever! Super handy.
It must be diary and calendar season!
This week Paper Boat Press has given us a sneak peek at their 2012 calendar. It looks absolutely lovely! Kylie says they’ll be in her online store on September 20 and will sell for $19.95. Check out her blog, Instinct and Grace for more details.

Frankie have just given pre-order details for their 2012 calendar and diary. These beauties always go super-fast so if you want one, you’d better snap one up quick smart! The calendar is $29.95 and the diary is $24.95. I have a 2011 calendar and I can vouch for its awesomeness. Hop to it.

I love Rifle Paper Co. Seriously. I’m a big fan of everything Anna Bond creates. So I was super excited to get an early bird email about the release of some new products and designs. I LOVE the new notepads and at $8.00 each they’re a bargain!
I came across the work of Yee Von Chan from Whimsy Whimsical via Indie Fixx and all I gotta say is, “I’ll have one of everything please!” I especially love her cute bear note cards. Adorable.

I’m such a fan of Amy’s site Eat Drink Chic, especially the gorgeous freebies that she creates!
This picnic invitation is bright, colourful and has me longing for the long, hot, lazy days of summer (which really isn’t a stretch considering I’m freezing cold and suffering from the flu).
Head over to her site to download this cute design and start planning a picnic!

Nothing is real but dreams and love screenprinted poster – Fifi du Vie.
Everyone knows the adage about keeping things simple, right? A simple message conveyed by a simple design can be really powerful. It’s amazing what a few simple words can do for the soul.
Izabella from Fifi du Vie creates beautiful works of art, based on the simplest of sentences. And she does it so well. Have a look at her lovely creations at her Etsy store.
This is a really cute idea, especially if you’re looking for quirky, and cheap stationery that you can make yourself.
A few days ago, Brenna from Design Sponge shared a tutorial for turning old maps into stationery. It’s an awesome idea and makes me wish that I’d saved the map of New Zealand we bought when we were there a few weeks ago (oops!).
