What I’m looking forward to in the new year is the luxury of time. Everyone has time, and I want to start really using mine. I want to spend my time starting to love myself, and love the things I can create and do using my mind and my body. I want to produce beauty and simplicity, and I’m looking forward to showing those I love what I can do. I want to see their smiles and their happiness. I can’t wait to discover 2013 and all it’s greatness.
Prize: Diary
I am excited for my first year out of some sort of educational institution! And I would love a Frankie diary in which to schedule all my newly found free time.
2013 is the year of exitement. Because in the fourth quarter of 2012 I have done everything that I dream of for years, I start my accessories line (http://www.facebook.com/ChaoticaAccessories), I bought myself a notebook (after a long time of no dress/shoes shopping) so I’m able to work as a freelance copywriter (to buy shoes…kidding). I’m very looking forward to 2013 as a chance to work harder, but fun too. I recently forced to learn photography after there is nobody care taking a proper photograph in every corporate events. I work as the digital media coordinator and it sucks if I want to share some photos and people would awkwardly threw ridiculous comments. And this brought me to produce a better photograph too, for my accessories line. And hey, this just the start….A really nice CALENDAR would bring a fabulous feelings in doing my projects through 2013. I plan to get myself in into some local bazaar, craft events, meet new people….and this means, I liberate myself from a not-so-nice divorce with my ex-husband.
I am most excited for my new adventure in Holland. I’m studying for my Masters in Art & Literature while writing, making and doing so much other stuff. 2013 is a daunting year but will hopefully be the best of my life so far. It’ll be my 23rd birthday on 23rd April and I would love the diary to keep track of the hundreds of thrilling things I’ll be doing throughout the year, keeping track of my deadlines, interviews & social stuff. Being able to carry it all around with my in a lovely diary like this one would be wonderful.
I could say launching my new stationery line or my very own magazine but I am most excited to break ground of a block of land and begin the long process of building our house… to create a home worthy of the child we would like to adopt – needless to say both of these things require many an appointment so a 2013 diary would come in most handy! LOVE your blog Pretty Paper Things!
I am looking forward to launching my online store of eco-friendly gift wrapping supplies and stationary soon after the New Year in 2013. It’s always been a dream of mine to have my own business and it’s finally happening!! I’d love the Frankie Diary because being the paper lover that I am, I still use a hands-on planner versus one on my computer or phone.
I really love the diary!
I would like create more textiles in 2013.
My baby girl & my blog’s first birthdays 🙂
Oh, and diary please!
For me, 2013 is the year I start a proper job! I am due to graduate as a secondary school Teacher this year, and would love a Frankie Diary to organise myself, as well as my future students!
In 2013, I’m looking forward to my new school semester, all the new things I’ll be blogging about, and all the nifty things I’ll be sewing up. I’d love that Diary to make sure I have all my thoughts in one single place.
I’m looking forward to hopefully getting that sparkly ring in 2013. 2012 has really shaped things up.
Thanks for having this lovely giveaway! 😀
2013 is going to be a new start to expand my paper goods business: newsletter, setting up my own online store and hopefully able to recruit people who share the same vision and passion as me. There are a lot of trials and indecisive choices in 2012 so hopefully I will be more focus in 2013!
p/s: I’d love to have that calendar!
I am looking forward to being able to be more creative as I start an interior design course, which the creativity will hopefully flow into lots of other aspects of my life!
I’m looking forward to finishing school! It’s been a long time in the waiting but that is the most I’m looking forward to going in to 2013.
….diary
I’m looking forward to welcome my first baby in 2013 😀
A new journey that I awaits with excitement! The calendar will be a great addition to the nursery.
Life in medical school has stretched out as a continuum of events, with no weekends, no vacations. I sometimes forget what day of the week it is! Nevertheless, the experiences i have encountered thus far have been out of the ordinary to say the least! Next year, I am looking forward to more out of the ordinary events such as being able to assist in an amputation surgery or in an open heart surgery- but more importantly, I’m looking forward to getting my life back! And that means interspersing things that I love with my daily schedule, such as reading blogs, shopping and reading frankie magazine. I hope I win a frankie planner so I can jot down all these amazing to-do’s for the next year!
I’m turning 21 at the end of December so in 2013, I’m looking forward to being a real adult. I expect that this will mean I will suddenly realise my purpose in life, be able to afford a house, remember people’s names and birthdays (a Frankie Calendar would help immensely), and have the ability to grocery shop without buying colourful sweets on impulse. It’s gonna be great!
I’m looking forward to continuing this journey of personal growth I’ve started in 2012 and first on that list is a 10 week clothes making course I’ve signed up for. The diary would be a beautiful reminder of all the amazing things I am going to see/do/achieve next year!
im looking forward to seeing my mum after we had a fall out and have not seen or spoken to one another for 5 years
i would likr the diary or the calendar thank you
In the new year, I’m looking forward to watching my tiny human grow up. Is that horribly cliche? I guess it is. But considering how much I ABSOLUTELY didn’t want kids, and how very close we came to not having her, it’s kind of a bit radical to see this person who never should have existed hang out and chat and high five and wear her Spider-man t-shirts with pride. And yes, she already loves paper things – the prettier the better.
It’s funny, most of the time I’m looking forward to gigs, or writing more, or a film release, or some kind of event. These days, I’m just looking forward to life. On one hand, that’s lovely. On another, god damn it’s going to make it hard to continue to be a cynical shut-in writer.
After a rough few years, I am looking forward to a fresh new start – organising my life and my home, rebuilding relationships that have strained, and creating a postitive environment for my family 🙂
I would dearly love to win the diary <3
sorry!! – I entered my email address wrong – this one is correct 🙂
im looking forward to fresh beginings and my daughter moviing back home so she can go to uni and study again and finish her degree and become a teacher she has done events and lived away from home for 2 years and we miss her so much 🙂
oh the diary please
Two big milestones that I am looking forward to in 2013! Getting married to a wonderful man and finishing my PhD. I would need the Frankie diary to keep track of my planning and also my writing. Cheers!
I’m looking forward to nothing in particular… and everything in general! Showing my little boy his first fireworks on new years eve, loving my work, loving being a mum, loving my little family and plotting travels to never before explored places. I am going to try and look forward to nothing… in order to live for every moment… that’s my new years resolution! (I would LOVE the calendar to record my friends birthdays tho… those are things that i’m allowed to look forward to i think)
To be truly honest, next year I look forward to change. I intend to start looking for another job that allows me to be creative. Along with that is expanding my line of merchandise on my etsy shop and meet new friends and local designers. I think next year will be an amazing revelation of who I truly want to be as a person and my career aspirations.
I look forward to finally being on my own. Forward to starting graduate school in the Midwest and to being in a place completely different from nyc. I want the diary to write about graduating college my acceptance to graduate school and finally the big move to a new state and making it on my own
I’m looking forward to the birth of my son! I’d love a diary to document everything that happens 🙂
I’m looking forward to the new year because I celebrate my birthday almost straight away, and because I’m hoping to get into uni to begin a whole new life! I think I’ll be needing a new diary for that!
I’m looking forward to celebrating one year of living in a new home and continuing to fill it with all the things I love and cherish (and exercising my creativity/injecting some handmade love with lots of DIY projects!). I would love to start a ‘line a day’ journal and the Frankie diary would be perfect =)
My daughter is overseas studying, and I’m visiting her for Xmas and the New Year. I’m so looking forward to spending the time with her, and presenting her with a Frankie Diary! 🙂
I’m finishing my uni degree in a few weeks, so I’m looking forward to my scary, exciting, intimidating, wide-open future. I’m terrified at the same time of course, but they say if it scares you, you should do it. 🙂 I’d love the calendar please!
The first day of the New Year is like the first page of a brand new journal and the ‘January 1’ page of a diary – clear, blank, open, and filled with possibility. I’m really looking forward to embracing that sense of newness and freshness, having spent a couple of days reflecting on the year past and setting my intentions and commitments for the year ahead. The year ahead will be filled with times to nurture friendships and relationships, times to nurture self, and times to nurture home – it is after all about how we manage ourselves rather than how we manage our time.
The Frankie Diary please
Our son starts school next year – what a milestone! There will be lots of meetings, birthday parties and play dates so best I record them in a diary so I don’t lose track.
Holidays, special events and family time but what I really love is when its dusk and the warm breeze hits your face, the birds are out and you start watering the vegetable garden and the water sprays on you as the wind picks up. SUMMER is what I am waiting for.
Studyin a masters in pharmacy next year so will definitely look into getting a journal.
Well, the Mayan calender ends this year, so i’d really just like next year to happen! And if it does, I guess i’ll be needing a new Calender!
I’m looking forward to my wedding to my gorgeous other half! With paper bit and pieces being my forte it’s going to be one hell of a creative party! That’s if I can choose between all the ideas running around in my head! (a girl can have more than one wedding right?) p.s. I would love a calendar to hang in my new home studio.
I am looking forward to FINALLY finishing uni and working on road as a paramedic, because it means instead of studying in my downtime, I can use it to expend some creative energy and get into all the DIY projects I have saved up but never got a chance to do. Would love the diary to keep track of all my projects, write lists and sketch designs! 🙂
