No Fuss Calligraphy Starter Kit

I’ve always loved the look of calligraphy. I admire the precision and skill a person must have to be proficient at it. I’ve tried it myself over the years but I tend to end up with a neater version of my own scrawling handwriting, which just doesn’t cut it.

If you’re interested in learning how to calligraph perhaps The No Fuss Calligraphy Starter KitĀ from Printable Wisdom will help? It comes complete with:

  • – One calligraphy brush pen
  • – Two sample alphabets
  • – Instructional pages covering strokes, flourishes, connections, and more
  • – Practice pages
  • – Personal calligraphy exemplar page
  • – Three guided projects
  • – Freestyle project pages

The book looks beautiful and the projects look easy to follow which is great if you’re a beginner. Are you keen to try your hand at calligraphy?

Oh man, I have a serious Calligraphy crush right now. My mum did calligraphy when I was a kid, and I loved it, but I honestly think I love the idea of it more than the reality. In the meantime, that book looks AWESOME. x

It does, doesn’t it! What a great idea too. It seems a little less rigid than a lot of other calligraphy how-to’s. I also like that you get a brush pen too!

Love love. One of my friends does the most amazing calligraphy, and I admire it so much (she’s on Insta here https://instagram.com/lissletters/). I do remember having a lettering book back in my teen days, and I loved it. What general blank paper would be best? Watercolour?
