NEW STICKER ALERT – CUSTOMISABLE TEACHER’S STICKERS

I’ve just added some new stickers to my Etsy store – Happy Mail Day – and they were made with teachers in mind. I’m lucky enough to have quite a few teachers in my life and they are all so passionate about what they do – they sure are an inspiring bunch. Oh and a lot of them share my love for stickers too so I feel a special kinship!

If you’re a teacher, or if you know one, make sure you sign up for my weekly newsletter. I’ll be sharing a few discount codes later in the month so make sure you don’t miss out!

7 bookplate ideas for kids books

I love books. That probably comes as no surprise really. Books give us the opportunity to live multiple lives within our own relatively short existence. They give us the ability to be things we’d never otherwise be. Within the pages of a book is magic so strong that it can conjure whole worlds in our minds. And that is pretty cool.

Books make the best presents. I give them to my nieces in the hopes that they’ll grow to share the same love I have for the written word. I inscribe them (when I remember to) because I think that’s a cool touch. I know that some people think marking books is a bit sacrilegious, but hey, each to their own.

If you want to go a different route bookplates are ideal. There are so many cute ideas to choose from too. Read more books everyone!

An Ashley Percival Giveaway!

Two years ago I featured the gorgeous animal art of the super talented illustrator Ashley Percival. His animal illustrations have a kind of laid back, magical quality that would work so well in a nursery or kid’s room (or grown-ups room too – I’m a big fan of this one!).

I was so happy that Ashley got in touch last week to let me know that he had a bunch of limited edition prints available on his Etsy store. They are, of course, so lovely and would make a great inclusion in anyone’s art collection. Oh and they are perfect Christmas pressies too. Want to win one? Keep reading!

This one has been exhibited on the London Tube!
Owl of the Night.

Christmas cards too!

Ashley has also designed a range of Christmas cards featuring his animals that will be sold online and off (the range will be hitting Paperchase very soon).

Win! Win! Win!

Ashley has graciously offered to send 4 limited edition prints (of your choice) to one of you very lucky readers! There are a few ways to enter so get cracking! (Ashley will send the prints anywhere in the world too. Thanks Ashley!)
